DRAGGIN’ WING FARM is the home of Draggin’ Wing Water-Thrifty Plants, Draggin’ Wing Flowers and Peaceful Belly Local Food for Local Folks. We all rely on organic methods for our production--no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and careful attention to soil building, crop rotation and lots of flowering plants to attract beneficial insects. The name Draggin’ Wing honors the killdeers who return to the farm every spring to build nests on the ground and raise their young. They trick us by dragging their “broken” wings on the ground and leading us away from their poorly-concealed nests.
